⌂ > Green Flash Lusterous Frumento

This Black Ale has been aged on bourbon barrels for two and a half years at Green Flash's Cellar 3 facility.   After barreling, the beer was blended with cold brew Sumatran and Brazilian coffees to add another layer of rich bright complexity.  Pours jet black.  The nose is strong with espresso , dark choclate fudge and black pepper.  Decadent layers of milk chocolate, bakers cocoa, caramel and fudge. Coffee additions hit later in the taste and add a silky smooth mouthfeel.  Exceptionally rich and candy bar like, yet never cloying.
