Description: | This unique take on a Belgian-style Dubbel is very complex due to the use of Johnston Co. sweet potaoes and marshmellow during the brewing process. Aged in red wine barrels, the result pours a hazy amber color with an off-white head. Sweetness is detected in the nose with hints of breadiness and red wine. The potato character comes out in the taste while the sweetness of the marshmellows and belgian candy sugar are reserved with the red wine for the finish. 7.5% ABV | |
