Description: | This imperial stout is aged for 6 months in rum barrels which lend notes of oak, rum, and vanilla to this already bold , full bodied chocolate stout. It pours almost black withb a toasty brown head. The aroma has a hint of black licorice, vanilla, cocoa , and molasses. The flavor is enhanced with two types of chocolate, vanilla beans, and cocoa nibs, which are added in the boil and again in the aging process, starts with some licorice, molasses, and rum. As it warms, the flavor fades to dark chocolate, dark cherry, and oak. There's a slight warming alcohol finish. This beer is nothing less than decadent. 10.5 ABV | |
