⌂ > Weltenburger Kloster Barock Dunkel

Pours a bright copper in color with a nicely dense, tan head.  The aroma is emblematic of a traditional dunkle with sweet  honey, caramel and nuttiness coming forth.  The flavor is reminiscent of  dense oat bread with distinct notes of sweet potato and honey which actually ends up balancing wonderfully and being entirely enjoyable, especially becasue the finish is nicely bubbly and crisp with a subtle nutty and sweet linger rounding out this well balanced and very traditional style Dunkle.... Really good! 4.7% ABV.
