From Mikkeller's Spontan series, this beer has been spontaneously fermented then aged in oak barrels with raspberries & charries.  Pours a deep garnet red with pinkish offwhite foam. Nose is surprisingly subtle.  Oak, vanilla bright sour cherry with soft, unleavened dough and yeast notes.  Intial taste is bright with fruit notes of tart cherry, sour berry juice, woody herbacious notes and subtle loamy cellar funk notes.  Medium high carbonation tempers the fruit flavor, and draws drier, yeast driven flavors of wet stone and moss to the forefront.
