Deep, dark brown appearance with a brown head of foam.  Solid aroma of roasted malts and dark chocolate followed by berries with hints of black walnuts.  The taste starts with a bit of sweetness from the blackberries and raspberries to accompany the roasted malts. The berries come through more in the middle with a bit of fruit tartness. The finish is roasted malt with an assertive bitterness. ABV 9.5
