Ale aged on Chardonnay barrels and then refermented with white figs and lemon zest.  Pours a deep copper gold with quickly dissipatting white head. Nose is a wide range of sweet and sour notes.  Thick mead like honey sweetness with a soft, earthy fig and citrus note over tart green apple and pear notes. Flavor is equally complex.  Bright sour green apple and white wine flavors are cut by medium high carbonation.  The finish is an earthy bitter fig and plum over tropical citrus.
