Slightly cloudy amber pour with a dark ruby cast. Normal head volume, retention and lacing. Light nose of dark fruit (raisin, plum), molasses and caramel. Medium bodied with a texture that has creamy aspects. Richly carbonated with effervescence from the middle on. The flavor profile is reasonably intense but packs a slightly softer punch than other Wee Heavies, complex and  balanced. Blended dark fruits lead, but are a bit subdued for the style. Prune over caramel constitutes the middle as a nice effervescence takes hold. As these fade towards the finish, an herbal bitterness is prominent. The finish is a lingering herbal flavor with notes of caramel. 7 % ABV
