This is a farmhouse-style beer made with a Belgian yeast strain, Blue African basil (grown here in Nashville), and coriander. Basil dominates the aroma along with fresh coriander. In the taste, the yeast character is expressive but not overly assertive. It's a relatively clean fermentation profile aided by the basil. Just enough sweetness remains to make this beer feel smooth and round on the palate and to make the flavors really pop.
