This brew pours a deep reddish/brown color with a nose of caramel, roasted toffee and hazelnut. Bourbon Street Honey Pale Ale is aged for months in wooden barrels used to make small batch bourbon whiskey. which intensifies the taste and aroma of the roasted malts and imparts hints of warm vanilla and wood in the brew. These barrel flavors pair well with the sweet flavor of the malted barley and the raw Louisiana honey. At 9.5% abv it finishes with a bit boozy aftertaste.
