| Description: | Named for a local musician, Scotty Karate is a bold scotch ale to start with. This one, however, is aged in bourbon barrels, adding even more complexity and smoothness. A touch of smoke comes through in the nose thanks to the use of cherry wood smoked malt. On the palate, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, and delicate smoke meet the whiskey, oak, and vanilla from the barrels. This beer is incredibly complex and rich. 9.75% ABV | |
