⌂ > Freetail Elijah Craig 12 Barrel Aged La Muerta with Coconut

Freetail's famous Smoked Imperial Stout rested on Elijah Craig Small Batch 12 Year barrels.  2/3 of the batch has been aged on barrels along with toasted coconut and then blended back with a fresh batch of La Muerta.   Coconut adds a silky mouthfeel and slight slickness lacking in the drier EC12 version.  Coconut lingers and seems to elevate the barrel character as well.
