This beer starts it's life as a Foreign Export Stout with Curry Spices.  In the years before Ballast Point was making fruited IPAs, Indra was one of their most outlandish beers. This takes that beer to the next level.  The spice notes on the nose are very subdued but still present underneath vanilla, cocoa and oak.  The bourbon flavors are well blended and the stouts roasty character actually overpowers them initially before molasses and oak notes come through.  Sits lighter on the palate than you would expect.
