Geisterzug ("Ghost Train" in English) is based on a recipe nearly 600 years old. This version goes a step beyond with the addition of fresh quince, the acidity and fruitiness of which add a layer of complexity to this already complex beer. Pours a hazy light straw color with quickly dissapating snow white head. This sour gose is a bit fuller in body than tradition might dictate. Drinks with complex notes of salted dough, tart pear and spruce with a dry, salty finish. 5.2% ABV
