| Description: | Alan Sprints of Hair of the Dog joined Dirk Naudts at De Proef to produce this Flanders lambic blended with a collaboratively brewed version of Fred. A frothy, off-white head rests on top of a slightly hazed copper orange brew. The aroma is a field of tart cherries, tropical fruit, granny smith apples, barnyard wood, and a slight inkling of lemon peel. The cherries and apples dominate the flavor, but the barnyard funk and oakiness persevere and are joined by earthy grains that give way to a touch of tall grass and dry leather. An acetic finish caps off this medium-bodied beer. 7.5% abv | |
