| Description: | Collaboration with local Austin brewery Live Oak, they used the Live Oak Hefeweizen as their base beer and transformed it through some mixed culture fermentation. They used brewers yeast and native microorganisms from the Texas Hill Country to create this wonderful brew. It’s hazy golden in color, and has a lovely clove characteristic from the base Hefeweizen. This complex brew tastes of lemon zest, lactic yogurt, green apple, white grape, and wheaty bread dough. It finishes with a wet musky funkiness at 5.6%. | |
