| Description: | Aroma of the funky Brett fermentation profile (barnyard, pineapple, stonefruits). The flavor is tart on the tip of your tongue from all the raspberry and the red wine barrel character. The malt sweetness is balanced by the red wine and raspberry tannin. If you let it warm up enough you do get a little bit of the Tennessee whiskey character on the aroma. This is not a soured beer (no souring bacteria cultures added), though the red wine and raspberry character adds a nice tartness. | |
