| Description: | This beer marks the return of the highly praised Divine Reserve 5. The same recipe for DR5 was used here as the base beer for this Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout. Aged just over 1 year in Woodford Reserve barrels, the beer pours a deep black with a slight amber hue and a full dark brown head. Aromas of roasted coffee, vanilla bean, oak and bakers chocolate. Soft and smooth on the intial taste which gives way to a punchy bourbon flavor. The finish is surprisingly hop forward with a sharp roasted malt bite. 11.5% ABV | |
