| Description: | This porter is a unique beer indeed. The aroma opens with sweet malts, bitter chocolate, and the subtlest hint of chili pepper. The flavor is much the same, but the chili is much more evident. The heat is not overwhelming and is really well-balanced by the sweetness of the malt, although you will feel a pleasant burn in your throat. The heat outlives the otherwise quick finish so it may seem like the spice builds as you drink. 8%ABV | |
