| Description: | This brew is dark brown in color and smells of coffee and chocolate. The taste is much the same with hints of creamy toffee and roasted malt. Black Crack is aged for a year and a half in bourbon barrels. It has the same flavor profile as the Buried Hatchet with caramel, woody sweetness and vanilla notes from the long contact with American Oak. It is smooth and delicious. The ale is medium bodied that is all about the malts but has enough hop bitterness to be balanced. 8.25% abv | |
