Description: | Initially inspired by the German Gose style, The Collective Brewing Project left the saltiness out of this brew while retaining many of the characteristic elements of the style. This version of Petite Golden Sour is brewed with Brettanomyces bruxellensis var. Drie., conditioned on 126 pounds of apricot purée and then aged in French oak barrels. Not much of a nose with some light sour notes mixed in with an earthy breadiness. Once you take a sip you know immediately you are in sour territory with a sensory assault of clean lemon yogurt flavors and a front of the mouth sour kick. The apricot flavor is light and fruity. It finishes dry and light with an above average level of carbonation keeping it lively on your tongue. 4.5% ABV | |
